Walkthrough Newbie, Create Charater, Tutorial Zone

Let's start!

Now login the username and password, after that select your server. I highly recommend Jainus-Jin because most players are in there. If you don't have account read this : How to register

At the character selection screen choose CREATE and then you can pick your race along with your gender.
No differences in skill or anything regarding of gender, just appearances. In this walkthrough I pick Half Elf, not really good for newbie, but I choose this just so you know that even I pick a tricky class, I can still survive in this game without begging to other for crones or items. For easier race you can choose Human or Dekan. Their build will go through str and vit in which providing them a great defense and hit point.

UPDATE : 24 January 2018
At this point I want to mention that all Screenshots for this guide has all gone, but now I put a video walkthrough as a replacement. You can just watch the video and will be fine. The video cover all basic things that you need to know in order to finish the tutorial zone and playing Rohan..

Below this line is an old walkthrough that was made at 2016. It is also still good, and still legit until now. Feel free if you want to read. But all screenshots are all missing. The video above is already enough actually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to the Tutorial Zone. Here you will learn on how to start playing the game. Just follow the guide inside the game. Daily Rewards is a system that give you a reward whenever you login at least once a day. If you can't manage to login in the next day, then you won't get a reward. It will stack up until day 28th.

Now let's begin the tutorial.
LEFT CLICK to move to a specific location that you pointed
Note: you can also use WASD keyboard keys to move around.

Now go the the orbs in front of you and RIGHT CLICK on him/her/it(we call them as NPC) to speak with it. It will give you a quest and explanation about it. Read carefully. You can check your Journal(J Key on keyboard) to look at your quest log including in progress, completed quest, available quest(for your level) and etc.

Keep clicking accept and complete for now, it doesn't really matter, the orb just telling you how to open inventory using key "I" on the keyboard and such.
Thus the quest will auto complete and you just need to
keep moving forward. You can read the quest too. But it doesn't really matter.

You can open inventory window by pressing "I" key on the keyboard. At the moment you only have 1 bag, but later you can buy another bag to increase your inventory slot. You can place your new bag in the bag slot indicated with yellow square on the screenshot above.

After that now you should get your very first real task which is killing 1 Young Varg monster. But first you need to equip your weapon which is bow and arrow for Half Elf(HE). Press "C" on keyboard.
Look at screenshot.

Now move forward toward the field and search for a monster called Young Varg. There's should be a lot of them. Then try to LEFT CLICK the monster and you will see the monster data in a small window in your top part of screen. Look at the screenshot below.
Number in red square indicated the monster level.
Compare it with your character level, you shouldn't fight a monster with level far above you or far below you. The later will not give you much exp or no exp at all.

Now look at the hotkey bar in your bottom right corner of the screen. That is the hotkey bar. You can place almost anything from basic actions, skills, item and etc into that bar. Then you can use the number in your keyboard from 1 - 0 to do certain function of that hotkey corresponding to the bar.
For example : Right now the bar 1 is Auto Attack basic actions(you can open basic actions window with key "N" on the keyboard)
If you now press "1" on your keyboard, you character will start attacking that Young Varg until it dead. Try it now. Or you can just click the bar with LEFT CLICK. Another option you can also just double click the monster to begin auto attack.

The system log window will give you brief explanation about almost anything that happening, so keep an eye on that window(indicated by red square on the screenshot above).
The green square is a chat window, there are several channel there, will be explained later.
You will gain some experience(EXP) after killing a monster. Depending on your level and monster you will get a difference EXP.

After you killed the monster, open your Quest window, press "J" key on keyboard and look your next objective. It's to report the task to the next NPC.

You can look at minimap which is in your top right part of your screen. It will point you to your next destination, but this only work in Tutorial Zone. Later there will be different way to do this. I explain it later.

Here this NPC will give you rewads(some potions) but you must choose one. Either red pot(HP) or blue pot(MP), you can't pick both. You will encounter Choose Rewards quest later in the game.

For now just pick the HP potion, and keep click
accept and complete unless you want to read some
explanation, go for it.

Now you should be at Level 2, and you get your first skill point. What is skill point?
Skill point is needed to get a skill in your Skill Tree window(you can open it by pressing "K" on your keyboard). There's requirement to get a certain skill such as character level requirements and the skill tree branch. Look at your skill tree branch, you can't access a skill if you haven't get the the prior/upper skill for that branch of skill. Example you can't obtain Physic Pierce skill if you haven't get the elemental skill(Blaze, Frozen, Darkness, Holy, that's it for HE race). Having said that now get your Frozen skill up by 1. It's a good skill, you can activate or deactivate it anytime. It gives elemental properties to your regular attack and sometimes it will reduce your opponent's mobility. Be aware to keep this skill activated you need a small amount of mana that will be used per interval of time.
Also to easily activate/deactivate this skill you can drag and drop the skill from skill window to your hotkey bar. Oh yeah I moved the hotkey bar into the middle between window chat and system log window, just to make it easier to look and navigate.

Continue to the next Orb and after that you will be introduced to Status Point. Open your Character Information window "C" Key on the keyboard. and look at the stats distribution section. Every time you gain a level you will get 4 free status point. For now distribute it into 1 Vit and 3 Dex.
Vit will add your physical defense and Hit point, grants you a better survivability when fighting monster especially physical type monster.
Dex will add your ranged attack damage and that is what you want as you are an archer(Half Elf).
So every now until Lv50 keep in mind to always add 1 Vit and 3 Dex every time you got a level. This is essential for your survivability towards the game.

Continue the next part of tutorialm which involves Trading with NPC, Forging weapon/armor, Refining weapon/armor level, Refining status on the weapon/armor/accessory.

Below is the screenshot on how to sell stuffs in your inventory to a NPC merchant(right now it's an Orb NPC). Open your inventory(I) then click and drag the item you want to sell and drop it into the NPC shop window inventory. The item will be sold automatically and you will gain crone depending on the item's value.
Oh and Crone is currency used in Rohan.

Next, you will introduced to Forging Weapon/Armor. This is one of many feature in Rohan that allows you to combine two different weapon of a same kind into a stronger weapon of that kind.
There are 4 grade of weapons and armors. Normal, Rare, Unique and finally Ancient.
To forge a weapon you need 2 of same grade weapon, same kind of weapon, but different name. to make transform it into the next grade of that kind of weapon.
Example :
Normal Dagger A + Normal Dagger B + Option Stone + Preservation Stone = Rare Dagger A
Normal Dagger C + Normal Dagger D + Option Stone + Preservation Stone = Rare Dagger B
Rare Dagger A + Rare Dagger B + Option Stone + Option Stone + Preservation Stone = Unique Dagger A
Unique Dagger A + Accessory + Preservation Stone = Ancient Dagger A
Note : Option Stone and Preservation Stone is optional.
For making Unique Weapon you can add 2 Option Stones, but not same one.
Below is the screenshot
Look at the screenshot above. Forging a weapon is not hard, you need to look at the recipe of the the rare weapon you want and then place ingredients on the corresponding slot. Just hover your pointer into the slots and you can see what ingredients it's needed. Then after that you can add a presevartion stone(can be bought on Item Mall) in the slot indicated with red square, to preserve of the ingredients if it failed. Yes it can fail and without preservation stone, your ingredients will be gone. Also you can add option stone to give an option stat upon a successful combination, the slot indicated with yellow square. Will be explained later.
For now try to forge 2 dagger into an Edmond's Dagger. it doesn't matter if you failed.

Move on and this NPC will give you another quest to check on the armor forging NPC which is only across this NPC place. Feel free to browse on that NPC and check on the armor ingredients. You can't do anything about it now.

Now we go to Refining. What is Refining in Rohan? This is another way to strenghten your character by deleveling a weapon/armor level requirement so you can equip it sooner. You can choose -1 or -2 or -3 level Refine, each with different price.
i.e Lv 5 weapon if you refine it's level(delevel) into 4 in this case -1 level, you can equip it when you reach level 7. You will see the requirement level change into like this 4(5). Look at screenshot below.

Be aware if you fail on an attempt the requirement level of that weapon will up according to level refine you chose. i.e -3 then if it's a fail the requirement level will up by 3. If it's at the original level requirement, then it won't add, don't worry. Another thing to keep in mind is, if you managed to delevel a weapon/armor -30 level, and you keep going and fail, the item will broken and gone. Be careful.
Same goes to armor, it applies same rules.

Accept and complete the quest and you will get an introduction about Status Refine. If Level Refine is for deleveling a weapon requirement level so you can equip it sooner, then status refine is for decreasing or erasing status requirement of a weapon/armor/accessory. Some weapon/armor/accessory you will get in the future(either from drop monster or quest) will have status requirement.
i.c 150 str, in order to be able to equip it, you need to have 150 str. Now this is a pain in the ass if you are a Half Elf, we know our main status build is Dex and we never add str. So there comes the status refinement to help you.
Just put that item into the corresponding slots and click refine to start. There are 3 main stat which is Str, Dex, and Int. Also you can choose the amount of decreasing the stat from -1, -2, -3 or full refinement which totally disposes the stat requirement to 0 (I believe  full refinement is the best). You can add stone to give more rate of success(can be bought on IM). But you don't really need that.
The good thing in this system is, you don't need to afraid from losing the item, even if you failed nothing will happens except you lost your crones for refining.

Now continue accept and complete the quest and keep moving forward to the hallway, skip the first Orb you meet(this orb is for Dhan and Dekan race Vengeance thing), and you get a new quest regarding M.Kill system from the Orb near the door leading outside.
M.Kill is a system in which after you killed a certain amount of monster, then the next moonster you kill will give you a lot more EXP than the usual. Look at the screenshot above inside the red square.
There you see M.KILL x7 2/20.
The formula is : after you killed 19th monster, the 20th monster will give you 7 times of it's normal EXP.
So we can use it for our advantage in gaining more EXP faster, in which we save the 20th kill for a stronger monster so we get a huge load of EXP, hehe get the grasp?
2/20 here means I already killed 2 monster.
After you reached 20th monster and killed it, there will be the next M.KILL formula for 20/40, 40/60, 60/80, 80/100 and finally return to 0/20. The EXP multiplier will increase according the M.KILL formula.

Enough for the M.KILL explanation now we got a quest on killing 10 Young Varg and 10 Young Imp, after that report to this NPC.
But before that we will need to do some preparations including get a new skill and distributing status point . I believe we are already at LV 4. So without further ado, just look at below screenshot.

Make it same like the screenshot. Get the new skill and put it into the hotkey bar below. Don't forget to distribute your status point too. If you still use the 1 Vit 3 Dex formula then it should be same like mine.
After that go hunt those monsters 10 Young Varg and 10 Young Imp should be an easy job for you. Oh and you should be able to equip the Bow weapon that we deleveled into level 4 earlier. Turn on your Frozen elemental and go use the new skill you just obtain.

And also you can use SPACE BAR to pick up crones and item that drop from monster you killed.

Now when you killed the 19th monster a noise like alarm will sounding, give you a warning that your next prey will give you multiple EXP, just in case you can hunt a stronger monster you get more benefit from this.

After you killed 10 Young Varg and 10 Young Imp go back to the Orb NPC and he will give you another quest. Now you eed to obtain 10 quest item that you can obtain by killing random monster in this field. you won't always get the quest in every monster you killed. So keep trying and collect 10 of it. Keep in mind that Young Akepion hits a bit hard so you may want to do the kite technique in killing this monster.
Kite technique involving you to attacking the monster while pressing "S" key on the keyboard. The idea is to attack the monster while moving backward to keep the distance between you and the monster so you won't get attacked by it. This only can be done on a melee monster, also you need to be a ranged attacker class. This helps you a lot in the near future considering you are a squishy class.

Now I believe you reached LV 8 and it's time for distribute the Dex and Vit stats once again, use the same formula 1 Vit and 3 Dex per level gained, so if you have 8 stats point, then keep adding 1 Vit then 3 Dex then 1 Vit then 3 Dex again just in case you won't messed up in distributing the point later.

Also you should be able to get new skill namely Nimble which is a buff that you can use. It's a great skill buff add your Dex points by percentage amount depending of this skill's level. You want to get this skill as high as possible as soon as possible in order to obtain the highest damage you can dish. Also upgrade your Frozen skill too. No need to upgrade Physic Pierce because that skill is not really useful(Don't waste your skill point, keep in mind you won't have enough skill point to master all skills, so you need to be wise in choosing the skill you want according to your build and play style).

Look the Nimble buff add the Dexterity points.
And also I put the Nimble buff skill at hotkey bar just to make it easier if I want to use it again later(rebuff).

After you got the 10th item quest, just for the sake of this walkthrough, keep hunting here until you reach level 10. It won't be long I promise. Also if you get some accessory(I know it's worthless at the moment), you can try to equip it in the accessory slots. Open your Character Information "C" key on keyboard and you should know by yourself.

Finally we reached Lv 10 and it's time to move forward into the last building and report the mission to the Orb. From now you should be aware that if a quest is completed, the NPC for reporting that quest will have a blue book animation above their head. So report your mission to obtain some goodies, mainly accessory, earrings(costume) and a seal growth(item to help boost your exp).
Equip the accessory and earrings you just got,
Novice Adventure Earrings and Bracelet
add 5 Vit
add 5 All Status and 100 HP
Very nice.

You can open your Character Information or just double-click the items. For the exp boost item, you don't need to do anything on that, the effect will already applied automatically(it has limited time though, and will get expired as soon as the time is over).

Notice the Costume button(in red square) click it and you will see your costume section.

Now for the finishing touch before we end this part of walkthrough let's adjust our skills and distribute our stats again. We are level 10 now!!
Look at below screenshot and make yours same as it. Just for the sake of the walkthrough.

Distribute your points, again same rule 1 Vit 3 Dex per level.
Get new skill Fatal
Put all new buff on the hotkey bar.including Enchanting Arrow and Fatal buff.

After that go to the last orb and get outta here!!
Continue to the next part of walkthrough.
