Real Walkthrough Newbie Lv 45 - 50

Ah hello there, this is the last part of the real walkthrough for newbie, which is for Lv45 - 50. If you are here, then you are great, I admire your spirit that brings you here. It only a little bit more until you reach Lv50 and then you can change your job into Scout(or Ranger if you want to go for PVP). Scout is better for beginner just so you have easier time in PVE because they have AOE skill. You will have easier time in finding a party, people like Scout more than a Ranger.

Okay now back at Kai'non, Levia is there to give you the Congratulatory Gift quest for Lv45 which is a very nice costume set(excluding the glasses though).

Reward lv45

Now this costume is just similar like Egyptian costume set earlier but this one is far stronger. So you should use it wisely as it's only available for 1D. This will incredibly boost you performance, so I recommend get this at Lv47 or 48 to help get into Lv49 easier. There will be a repeatable quest at Lv49 which has a great EXP reward rather than crones and it will helps you to get into Lv50 really, really fast. So our target now is to reach Lv49 as soon as possible.
I recommend to get it at Lv48 though(and I will do just that), but you decide everything. If you want to get it later, then just decline the quest from Levia and come back later.
NOTE: Job change quest is incredibly hard, you may want to get the costume later at Lv50 to help you do that quest

Refine status Aris's Needler

Now sell all trash in your bag. After that try to forge some weapon or armor if you like. I hope you already have Lv50 Rare Bow which is Aris Needler(delevel it of course) with some good Dexterity stats or Ranged Attack option, if not your journey to Lv50 will be harder, but not impossible as what we need to survive is not damage but defense. It will just take a longer time because you will kill the monster slower, without a good weapon. I spend 1,2 million croness to get this Aris's Needler after buying random bow part(magic shop version), and yeah I farmed crones more and more until I had almost 2 million crones. So I still have 700k or so crones to refine level and status my Aris's Needler.

Please be aware your Craftman Bow is a very nice weapon with some stas including Vit which boost your pdef. So while Aris's Needler with Ranger Attack% has more attack, your pdef will drop a bit.






Another thing is, try to save your Armor of Red Dragon parts because we need it later to forge Armor of Natu set.

After you done with everything, it's time to grow again. Hope you're not bored with this routine.

From here I will give you 3 way to reach Lv50.

1. Exploring the Rohan World and do quest from various NPC for your level range.
2. Grind like mad, grind, grind, and grind until you got blackout.
3. Looking for a party to hunt together with another players.

Alright the pros and cons :
For the first option, the pros are you will gain a great knowledge upon Rohan world including places, certain monster spot, you will know many different monsters, maybe you can even know some story of Rohan history from reading those quest. Lastly you get a nice rewards from NPC, usually materials armor or weapon with nice options. The cons are probably you will reach Lv50 slower than the other way I suggested. You will waste your time in travelling from place to place and looking for certain monster, but that's it.

For the second option, the pros are you will get a steady EXP and level up quicker than the first method.
the bad thing is, you will get bored very soon(without HK), it's a pain and you might get a coma for grinding non-stop(okay that's exaggerating).

For the third option, the pros are you will of course meet new friends and you won't get bored easily as you have someone to talk to(of course if they are not on HK and AFK). But the reason for having a party is because you will get an easy time for hunting and faster EXP in process. The bad ? Almost nothing bad, except the time you spent waiting until someone invite you into his party, because sometimes, you can register on PM and sit there until doomsday without someone invited you at all, meaning you won't grow at all. A.K.A it's hard to find a party at your current level.

Oh yeah you can also buy a new arrow for Lv41 if you haven't replace your Lv21 arrow.
Personally I suggest you to use the first method and gain more knowledge on Rohan world and monsters, combined with the second method. Right now the best place for doing quest is at Varylon Map, Hushed Forest area, there will be several NPC whom will give you quest.

Temple of Gail map

Another good map to explore is Kowarre map.it just south from Draht map, you can get there via Temple of Gail Portal Stones(Sundries GH), after that, go south(follow the red line arrow) and you will find yourself at Kowarre region. Kowarre is the best map to grind for Lv40-55.
Oh, and the bindstone NPC at Temple of Gail will give a very easy quest.

Task : Talk to Frea
Reward : Elixir and a few Exp.
Frea is the bindstone NPC at Kowarre region. Look at screenshot below.

All of below quest are from same NPC named Frea. She is at a sole bindstone in Kowarre map(red square).
Tip : You can also go there via Ezker Island portal(Sundries at GH sells that)

NOTE : There are very dangerous monster on this island, you need to go North and pass a bridge to get to the mainland, but you must pass high level monster that lurks on the path heading there.Violent Mantis and Ravaging Plants can kill you easily, and they are very aggresive.

Type : Melee Physical
Task : Kill 20 Celia Knight, 15 Celia Templar
Location :  Kowarre, from Celia spot, go south and you will find them lurking at a hill on the left side of the main road.
Physical Defense needed to survive : 550+

Quest Name : Dangerous Task
Starting NPC : Frea
Monster Name : Swamp Varck
Lv : 47- 49
Type : Melee Physical
Task : Kill Swamp's Varck until you got 30 Varck's Venom
Location :  Kowarre, again go south even further from where you find Celia Knight and you meet these creatures a lot.
Physical Defense needed to survive : 570+

NPC Nictor(Limestone Foothill) will give you a quest at Lv48 called Leader of Amazons, the task is to kills 80 Amazon Archlord. You can find them Northeast of Arbelorn at Geizan Map, near beach. Be careful though there's a lot of powerful Paragon gangs on the beach.

Here are the screenshots I took while I'm hunting some monster I mentioned, just so you know that I really do all of what I wrote in this guide, not begging anyone so I can leech him in Lower or Upper dungeon.
Tip : If you get bored, just play some music, I always listen to my playlist while I grind(using headphone/headset/earphone, earphone is best though).

Train until you reach Lv49 and we will do a repeatable quest that gives nice EXP reward.

Lv49? Time to do the nice repeatable quest that helps a lot to reach Lv50. I hope your Vampire Hunter costume is still available, no problem if not, just get your pdef at 570+ and you'll be fine.

Now go to Temple of Gail, use Temple of Gail Portal Stones, can be bought at GH. Also buy another 30 of this stones(only sold at GH). We will keep teleporting to Temple of Gail for this repeatable quest.

Repeatable : Yes!!
Requirement LV : 49
Starting NPC : Frea
Task : Kill D25(yes only 25) Deep Swamp Varck
Reward First Time : 5% EXP and Remedies
Repeatable Reward : 2.50% EXP!!!!!

So the routine will be like this :

1. Get quest from Frea.
2. Go kill 25 Deep Swamp Varck(Use the Move ability from Angel Bunny if this is your 2nd trip).
3. Save Location using Angel Bunny.
4. Teleport to Temple of Gail.
5. Go to Frea and report for 2.50% EXP(5% EXP for the first time)
6.  Repeat step 1

I guarantee if you serious and diligent you reach Lv50 under 2 hours. maybe less.
I usually doing this trick until Lv53 or 54 before going to Altar of Roha(the next spot for grinding).

Well now if you already reach Lv50 that means you have completed this Real Walkthrough Newbie.
Congratulations for you. You are a hardworker newbie.!!!

Reach Lv50

You deserve respect. Reached Lv50 without beg to anyone, crones, item, armor, buff, you never ask help from anyone. You're the best and extreme player(at this era, because old timer used to do this too).

Oh and now you should go to Kai'non and get your Congratulatory Gift Lv50 there. From Lv55 and so on the Congratulatory Gift will be given by the guardian of Limestone Foothill bindstone.
The reward this time is Reset Skill Stone which will reset all your skill so you can relocate it again from start.
Also the Newbie's Helper in GH will give you Reset Status Stone, work same but for your status point instead(this is the last gift from Newbie's Helper).

Advice for what to do next : 
Do the job change quest, become Ranger/Scout is your choice. The quest can be taken from NPC in Kai'non. Each job has their own task and different NPC. I won't guide you how to do it, you can google it, there are already many guide for Half Elf change job quest. 

Start registering in PM as from here you really need to hunt together with people, Upgrade your ARMOR!! This is very important, you need to create Armor of Pluion set ASAP!!
After that I recommend you to hunt at Altar of Roha until Lv60.

You : It's to hard I can't survive Altar of Roha!!!
Me : Alright, alright, there's still another way to leveling.
Use the traditional method, solo all the way! Explore Kowarre region more, there will be lv 54-68 lurking in this map. Just explore it and hunt them. They don't need a huge pdef and the number of enemies are sensible. Altar of Roha is designed for party hunting anyway, so the number of enemies there are vast.

Then try to create Enchanted Armor of Edwin set.
 It's not easy believe me, but you need it at Lv70+, everyone will go to Lower Lv. of Gratt Underground for hunting in party and you won't survive without that Armor set. You need 1500 Pdef roughly. If you have money to spend, then go to Exchange Market and buy Twin Sister Accessory Earth and try to get Keena's Gem(earth) and Hart's Gem(earth) if you equip both accessory you will get a huge boost in pdef and HP. UPDATE : NO MORE TWIN ACC NOW! Just buy a decent armor set or make one. Another option is just go make a dekan or human, they have better defense and hp, espeically defender class for human.
