Real Walkthrough Newbie, Lv 10 - 20

UPDATE : 24 January 2018
Rohan nowadays will give you Adventurer weapon as a starter package, that is superior to any weapon we will talk in this guide. So stick with it for now.

Continuing from the last part of the walkthrough, now we are actually arrived at the real Rohan world. We start at Kainon Map. You can open the Rohan Map by pressing "M" on your keyboard and you can zoom out or zoom in the map.

Now to make this walkthrough easier, I have made some objective that we need to do and finish it by the end of that walkthrough.

1. Get the Reward(Congratulatory) Quest LV 5 and LV 10 from the Bindstone Keeper NPC(The lady in purple dress) near the bindstone. For your information, bindstone is a save point, kinda like if you dead from a monster or player, you will be revived here. Right now you are standing in a bindstone(after get out from Tutorial Zone). 
2. Get the Race Main Story LV 10 at Half Elf woman just at the entrance of the Half Elf Town.
3. Get some equipment armor and a new weapon.
4. Get 10.000(10k) crones or more.
5. Get to level 20.

 Well, let's begin our journey!!
NOTE :Sadly there was a technical issue, blogger crashed and some of my screenshots footage gone. I cannot recover it. I apologize for this issue. But you can still read the guide.  If you have any question feel free to put it on the comment section.

Let's begin

First go talk to the purple dressed lady(Levia) near your spot standing. And get the congratulatory quest for Lv 5 and Lv 10. Just accept and complete(no need to read anything), also you can save point on this bindstone by talking with here and choose save point, There will be many bindstone like this scattered all over the Rohan wold and every bindstone has 1 purple dressed lady to guard it and you can save point via talking to her. You can see the bindstone symbol in Map is like Crystal thingy. Look at screenshot of map below.

 But what about the green square? The bindstone there also have merchant the let you to buy some items like potion and arrow(for Half Elf). The bindstone symbol is a red gray crystal on the map. Another good thing about this bindstone is, you can buy portal stone to this bindstone, so you can instantly teleport to this bindstone from anywhere as long as you have the portal to teleport to the corresponding bindstone. For example look at the map, you can see Bregendy Brewery bindstone there. That bindstone have it's own portal stone, so later we will try to buy that portal stone and instantly teleport there.

Reward Lv5 and Lv 10

For now after you grab the congratulatory quest for Lv5 and Lv10 go equip the second Novice Adventure Rings(earlier you get 1 from Tutorial Zone) you get from Lv 5 congratulatory quest and equip the Glass of Wrath goggles(this is a costume) from Lv10 congratulatory quest. By now you should know how to equip it right? Just Drag and Drop at the corresponding slot.

Item Gained :
Both are very good equipment.
Novice Adventure's Rings = All status +5, HP +100
Glass of Wrath(1D) = All status +20 
Note : If you have another accessory already equipped, go replace it with the Novice Adventure's Rings, this is better than any of your accessory you found during killing monster before.
The ring will expire after 30D, and the glasses will expired after 1D, you can see (1D) behind the name indicating the time limit for that item.
Both item has time limit and will expired after the time limit is over. So we need to make use of it very well.
Notice that you also a got second Novice Adventure Earrings(costume) from the rewards, but because you already got 1 from Tutorial Zone and we only have 1 slot in costume section for earrings, just ignore it or delete it by dragging it and drop it on the recycle bin icon(located in the top right part of your inventory).

Now we are done here, let's go to the town(Morrisen) to do some preparations and  get a few quest to help in our poor economy(quest is your major way to get crones and equipment for now), my advice is do as my quest as you can.

To Morrisen

Extra note: You can go to other races town(Except Dhan and Dekan town) and you can find many quest too there.

Arien NPC

 Before entering the town you meet a Half Elf woman named Arien just outside at the entrance, go talk with her and get the quest from her The Fiance of Kael Dutton. This is a race Main Story quest just so you know only Half Elf can do it. if now you open your Quest Journal (J) you will see that this quest belong to Main Story category. This means this is a part of the story from Rohan world regarding Half Elf history, you can follow the story by reading the Main Quest that is actually will become a Chain Quest later.

Find NPC

Let's do it, Go find NPC Turmel and talk to him. If you have trouble finding a NPC, you can search it via Map. Now open your map and click Find NPC at the top right party section of the map. A small window will appear, go write down the NPC's name in the Name box, write Turmel be aware you need to write it exactly like the name, every letter capitalize must exactly same. Now click search and the system will tell you the location Area of this NPC, which is in Morrisen. You can try to find him manually by looking at your map and go look at the Morrisen town(Half Elf town) which is in Map Kai'non. There's several green cicle there indicating that NPC either will have quest for you or the NPC that you need to report your quest into.

Arrow Guide

Another way you can click the Indicate Location in that same window you used for searching Turmel, there an arrow will guide you to the Turmel NPC. Keep in mind this arrow is not a smart feature, so if there's a hill or river between you and the NPC, this arrow won't give you the smart road and instead guide you through the impassable terrain like that river. The arrow just giving you the fastest way to reach the NPC. You still need to find your way to actually get there.


Let's just go and talk to Turmel now.

 After talking to him, the next objective is to talk with Zhonat Rhotus, go find him and talk to him to complete the quest. Oh inside the hut there's Quaid Berkins NPC he has a quest for you and if you want to get the quest form him feel free to do it.

This will finish the quest and you will be rewarded with one of the following. For the sake of the walkthrough go pick Trap Striker, this is a bow designed for faster attack speed but lower attack power than crossbow. Later on as a Scout job(lv50) you will go to Scout so better to adapt with using bow. Crossbow is for Ranger class.
Item Gained :
Trap Striker = Required Lv19, option : Dexterity +2, Ranged Attack2%

This weapon is for Lv 19, but we will try to refine it's level(delevel) later, it's too far from our level I think now.
Now we need to get a new bow, buying from NPC is not a bad idea, but they usually not the best. Let's do a quest then, how can we know if there's a quest for us? It's easy open your Journal by pressing "J" key on the keyboard and at the top part tab section, go to possible quest, you will see all quest that you can do.

Because we're Half Elf and our main map is in Kai'non let's go with quest that is possible in Kai'non, there's also level requirement on getting a quest. Now we are Lv10 so let's look at the level 10 quest, which is Reclaim Crystal Quarry, this is not a General type quest instead Party, the quest suggesting us to form a Party with another player to do this quest together so it will be easier. But don't worry we an do it alone as this is an easy quest. Later on some Party quest will be very hard that you indeed need some hands to help you. You can also look at the rewards, LOOK there's Hunting Bow with nice option stats, Dexterity +4 and Vitality +4, very nice eh? Exactly what we want.
So how can we get this quest?
Look at the Starting NPC at the top part of the right side quest title window. It's from Quaid Berkins. 
 So let's go and talk to him to get this quest.

Now click accept and opn your Journal, he tells us to kill 10 Rigal Spelunker, but where?? How can we find this monster??
Now this is the time that you actually want to read the explanation of a quest from NPC. So if you haven't read the explanation from Quaid Berkins before(i.e you click accept without reading anything) then you got big chance to lost and don't know where to go. I suggest you to open Journal Quest and choose Quit Quest.

After that go talk with Quaid Berkins again and now make sure you read all his explanation including where we can find this Rigal Spelunker monster.
Now we know we can find this monster inside Crystal Quarry dungeon. This dungeon located just outside of the town, you can check it by opening your map and choose Zoom Out so the map will zoom out from Morrisen into Kai'non map.

Let's go we have work to do!
But before we go it's best to make some preparations. We need a armor and potion to help us fight that monster. Where can we buy those?
Let's go to Sundries NPC.   They sell HP potions and Mana Potions. For armor we will go to Armor Merchant. Below is the screenshot indicating the Sundries and Armor Shop symbol in the map.

Ok, let's go to Sundries first.
 
Remember how to trade(buy/sell), just drag and drop what item you want to buy or sell.
Now we want to buy HP potion and Mana Potion so we drag and drop the potions from NPC window into our inventory. But I think we don't have sufficient crones, so let's sell some stuff first.
Right now I'm selling almost all of my stuffs that I think it's crappy, like those weapons from Tutorial Zone and some accessory I got when I killed monsters there.
Just sell everything except that Trap Striker we got earlier from Zhonat Rhotus, also you can't sell some certain items like that All stat talisman +10 (7D) and the seal growth boost EXP, both are non-tradable item also. Oh and I noticed we got a new 30 slot bag. Go drag and drop it on the bag slot in top part of inventory. Oh and also the mini potions we got from Tutorial Zone also can't be sold, so I decided to delete those by drag and drop it one by one into the recycle bin icon. Those pots are not good including the mini elixir. Just get rid of them, and that Spirit Stone 2 Pouch also, it's garbage, trust me.

The Willow Fishing Pole is used to fish in the Fishing Hole are, more to come for it later.
I bought 50 Minor Healing Potion and 50 Minor Mana Potion and this is my inventory now at screenshot below.

Notice we have 10 Town Portal Stone, this stone will let us to teleport to the Main Town entrance of all Rohan Races including Human(Einhoren), Giant(Etton), Elf(Vena), Half Elf(Kai'non), and Dark Elf(Montt).
Keep in mind Dhan and Dekan race is a hostile race so don't go there because their patrol guard will be happy to kill you, therefore the town portal stone won't give option for us to go there.

Oh don't forget that you can put the potions in the hotkey bar as well so it will be easier for you to use it later.
Mine is like this.

I added a second hotkey bar and put my potions there. To add a second hotkey bar just click at the arrow facing top in the 1st hotkey bar, to hide a hotkey bar use the down arrow instead. Oh and one thing you need to know, the hotkey you will use is for the active hotkey bar only, for example, look at my hotkey bar above, the 2nd bar is active, so if I will to press 1 key on my keyboard I will use potion HP instead of auto attacking. Just activate the 1st hotkey bar, you can just click the potion in 2nd hotkeybar if you ever need to heal.
 
Now let's get some armor at the Armor Shop. Choose purchase general items and buy top most set.
Leather Armor, Leather Tasset, Leather Helmet, Leather Gauntlets and Leather Boots. Equip them immediately.
There's Master Armorsmith NPC near you, you can use that to forge armor. Remember our lesson from Tutorial Zone? If not go back to that part of walkthrough.
Don't worry we will use this NPC service soon. To make our Benezar armor set. We need this set armor.

Now we good, let's kick some Rigal ass in Crystal Quarry!








 Now I hope you already know how to open Map and go the the place by yourself just go east from the town or bindstone, I will meet you at the entrance of Crystal Quarry. Note : You can use portal stone to teleport out to Bindstone outside to cut some time. Choose Kai'non.

 Go inside that blue thingy warp gate.
Once inside keep going forward until you find Rigal Spelunker and kill them. you need 10 kills.
You also can kill some Rigal that lurks near the entrance just to help you get the feel of hunting monsters.
Don't forget to use the Kitting Technique I taught you earlier in Tutorial Zone, and keep an eye on your health and mana bar. Use potion as necessary, means when you already lost half HP you can use the healing potion, be aware potions has a cooldown so you can't spam it. Use it wisely.
Lastly use Frozen elemental it will helps you a lot for adding damage, no need to use that crappy Physic Pierce skill in my opinion, but you are free to use it. DO NOT FORGET TO USE ALL YOUR BUFF SKILL!!! Agility, Enchanted Arrow and Fatal, they helps a lot! Always keep buffed when you are going to a fight.

Fighting Rigal Spelunker

NOTE 1: Monster has aggressiveness, If you stay near to a monster(caught in their range of aggro) they will attack you aggressively, be careful. And if it's happen to have a linked monster with him, that monster will also attack you, read NOTE 2. The aggro range of a monster can be different depends on its level, if the monster level is high far above your level, their aggro range will be very big, means you don't need to get closer to them, if they sense your presence they will attack you immediately, be very careful! As opposite with the monster with level far below you, their aggro range are diminished, sometimes are even gone at all.

NOTE 2: If you targetting a monster sometimes they has a link to other monster which indicated by a blue circle below their feet, this will result in that monster helping the monster you are attacking now, so be careful when you decide to target a monster, if not you will soon find you got yourself clobbered by many monster at once and die.

NOTE 3 : In case you want to recover health and mana without using potions, you can press "Z" on keyboard to sit down, you will recover HP and Mana(only if you don't use a sustained mana skill like Frozen elemental which drain your mana periodically) periodically. Good if you ran out of potions but still have monster to kill for quest. Therefore I suggest you buy a lot of potions, mainly HP potions before go to a dungeon or doing killing monster quest. Another thing is, you can't sit down while in a battle or you will get up if while you sit you got attacked.

NOTE 4 : Pick up the loot, crones and items, we are broke now!! We can sell it later.

NOTE 5 : If you got armor part or better weapon you think it's better than what you wear now, go use it, I don't know what you get but you should know what you need to do. This monster mainly drop Hard Leather Armor part, it's 1 grade better than what we use now, so if you managed to find it, go use it. As dropped armor usually has option stat, it's very good compared from NPC.

NOTE 6 : There's Rigal Foreman here, don't attack that monster, you will die! I warn you now. It is a miniboss, you can tell the difference, when you targeting him, you can see his HP Bar slightly bigger than those normal monsters you faced this far.

In case you died(which you shouldn't) you can choose to revive and you will get revived in bindstone. Just get back here and finish your job, it's not hard.

For your information I train here until I got lv 13. It's a bit long but it's worth the time, so go train yourself until lv 13.
After you reach Lv13 it's time for stats and skill build.
For the stats you already know the rule 1 Vit and 3 Dex per level gained, so if you are now level 13 which means you gained 3 Lv you should have 12 points to spend, go 3 Vit and 9 Dex for following the 1 Vit 3 Dex per level gained.
As for the skill build we will get 2 new skills.
1.  Long Shot and make it lv 2
2.  Bleeding Shot get it lv 1
Long Shot is very nice buff, this skill allows you to add more range to your attack range, meaning you can attack monster from farther distance, good eh? The range will get farther along with the skill lv, so you want to maximize it later, lv 5. You can make it lv6 with Skill Enhancement Stone(SES) and lv7 with Ancient Skill Enhancement Stone(ASES), it's a kinda rare item that can be drop from monster or get from quest reward, you can also buy from IM and those stone from IM is 100% success rate.
Bleeding Shot, this skill best for giving Damage Over Time(DOT) to your opponent.You know poison status? You should know, it's a mainstream bad status in most RPG game, that will drain your current HP slowly but sure, that's called DOT. So best to use it as an opening attack skill. Just in this case the opponent bleed not poisoned, the rule is same actually. You only need this skill at Lv1 for entire time.
Screenshot below is my build for Lv13. Be aware I deactivate all buffs including the buff Agility(which add dex) so you can compare it with your dex now, to deactivate a buff simply double-click the buff symbol in your top right part of the screen(Be careful! If you use a growth boosting buff scroll for EXP it will become a buff too, so double clicking the buff will make it disappear thus your EXP gain will be normal again) . Another thing is if you managed to get a weapon maybe Hunting Bow that has Dex plus option, and use it, then our dex might not be the same. Right now I haven't get any weapon that add dex stats yet.

Lastly before we continue to report the quest, I hope you already know some of the basic on how to play this game, so I don't need to keep post a picture here, that's a bit tedious and maybe you find it annoying?
Well to prove that you already know about some of the game basic things, I want you to put your newly gained skills to the hotkey bar yourself so you can use it easily from there.

Back to Quaid Berkins and get our rewards which is a nice Hunting Bow!! Yeah..
Just use that Town Portal Stone and go to the NPC. Hover our pointer to the reward box and scroll down for the Hunting Bow!

Now we get the bow and.. Wait!! It's for lv 14!! We can't use it,we are Lv13.
Don't worry if you did the Tutorial at the Tutorial Zone you should know what NPC can help us now.
Yes you're right Refinement Level NPC, so let's go to the NPC and delevel our new bow by -1 level.
Check on map and Refinement Level NPC symbol is the big arrow with pink lettter L on it. For Refinement Status NPC, it's the same big arrow faced down but with blue letter R on it.
Surely you don't need any screenshot to do this right? But well I will still give it.








 Go and refine Hunting Bow by -1 level, it should be success, if not try it again, I'm sure it will after second or third time. Now go equip the bow!! Oh yeah new weapon.
After that go sell all your trash you gained from our hunting earlier from the Crystal Quarry including you former bow, to get some nice little cash.

Now we need our new set of armor that we will equip soon. Once again go to the Armor Shop, you should already know where it is right?
Buy the Hard Leather set armor, all of part. I hope you have enough crone to buy those set but if not don't worry, we buy it later. If you can, then go replace your old armor with the new one but don't sell your old armor we can forge that with this current armor now into a rare armor called Benezar set. You can forge it now if you want at the Master Armorsmith shop just near you, but keep in mind if you failed the armor parts will lose, both Leather and Hard Leather so I suggest don't do it now. The Hard Leather Armor is Lv14 so we need to delevel it 1 level, let's go do it and equip it immediately.

Time to get some new quest. Again open your Journal
We want to do a Lv12 this quest has an Elven Helmet armor as a reward. 

From now you should already know the mechanics on getting the quest and what to do right?
Ok let's go get the Lv12 quest, Start NPC is Turmel, go find him and talk with him to get the quest Neverending Battle. Read carefully his explanation, It turns out that he want us to fetch 10 Black Hide of Ghoul from Ghoul monsters in Crystal Quarry.  Sure piece of cake!

Let's go back to the mine and find the monster. Here's the Ghoul location indicated in the yellow square in the screenshot below in case you can't find them.

Fighting Ghoul

They are a bit aggressive but nothing you can't handle at this point.
After you got 10 of the quest time, I suggest you to keep training here until you get lv 16. This is essential for the sake of this walkthrough. And keep pick up the loots!!
You can go a deeper inside to find higher level of Ghouls. Just keep grinding, the rewards is very nice.

Anyway after you reach Lv16 it's time for another build. Here's the screenshot of my build at Lv16.

As usual we will add 1 Vit and 3 Dex per level, and now we get 2 new skills!!
Piercing Root and Double Strike
Piercing Root is very good skill, used to stun your enemy with a shot from distance immobilizing it for a period of time(but it's not always success), it also add additional damage and how long the immobilize time and success rate along with the skill's level.
Double Strike is one of those great attack skill. You will rely on this skill a lot on your journey to Lv50.
This skill is just same like you do a twice regular attack, but later on at the higher skill's level you will get additional damage per shot. Basically at lv 5 skill you will do 4x damage of your normal regular hit, very nice.

Now time to head back to Morrisen to report the quest and do some more stuffs. Let's use Town Portal Stone to Kai'non.
When you arrive at the bindstone, before you head into the town, the purple dressed lady(Levia) NPC will have another congratulatory gift quest for you Lv15, let's take it.
It's a costume set Egypt. Use it immediately to hugely boost your status and performance. This is really awesome gift.
Item get :
Egyptian Costume Armor (1 Day) = All Status +30, Attack + 50, Defense +50

Egyptian Earrings (1 Day) = All Status +10, Attack +15, Defense +15

Now this is a set costume which give you a "Set effect"
The set effect of 2 piece from this set is Defense +100, very good.

Now we got far stronger than before, let's go and report the quest to Turmel. We got the nice Elven Helmet as a reward.
Oh and while you're at it, you should sell some trash you got from our last hunting.
Notice after you get the rewards Turmel offering you to do this quest again, apparently this quest is a repeatable quest. What is repeatable quest?
Repeatable quest is a quest that you can keep repeat again and again, the price usually will be potion and crones. Now this is how we actually make crones, we will do repeatable quest, but not now and not this quest. For now just decline the offer and it's time to forge Benezar set!!!

Immediately go to Armor Shop, and if you haven't bought that Hard Leather armor set all part, do it now.

Forging Benezar

After that talk with Master Armorsmith just near you and forge the Leather armor set and Hard Leather armor set into Benezar set, of course you need to unequip your Hard Leather armor part that you are equipping now. If there's a failed attempt(maybe helmet/armor/boots) don't worry, you are still strong especially you already have the egyptian costume with you. You can just skip Benezar and buy Elven set armor. No big deal.


UPDATE : Again if you use Adventurer Bow, then skip below section about Trap Striker.

It's not over, let's go to Refinement Level to finally delevel our Trap Striker earlier we got from Zhonat Rhotus!!
It is Lv19, so we need to delevel it -3 level. I suggest you do it -3 level instantly so once it is success then it will go to Lv16 immediately you can use it. But i cost 1000 crones for each attempt, if you broke, just use -1 Lv three times, it's cheaper. Right now I have only 2000 crones so I will do the later.
Okay now I managed to delevel it into 16 and here is my final set at Level 16.

I don't use Boots of benezar because I got an Elven Boots with 4 pyshical defense option which is better than my plain Boots of Benezar.
Now actually if you failed to delevel your Trap Striker to lv16, it doesn't matter, just use your current bow it's not a big deal. Later we can forge Hunting Bow  + Trap Striker into a rare weapon which is powerful, but again if it's fail it will gone. Don't worry though the usual weapon in NPC is enough.

What now? Hehe now actually we are already quite powerful so let's just hunt random monster and get to Lv 20 as fast as possible.
Exit Morrisen to the west, move past the bridge and keep moving forward you will see some monster called Drexter and Drexter Fanglord. Let's train here until we got Lv20.
Here's the location in the map if you lost.

Also there's a bindstone near that place, so it's a good idea to set your bindstone here just in case you die so you can revive in this spot.

Just to give proof that I really do all this walkthrough, and not just a bullshit.
Keep pick up all loots, especially accessory like Green Mano Ring, it sells at NPC for 3400 crones.
I use my MKILL on higher level monster such as Risen Paladin.

After you got to Lv20 it's time for the stats and skill build again.

For the stats it still 1 Vit 3 Dex, it will be keep like this until Lv50. 
For the skill, I just use all my 4 skill points I gained to make Double Strike Lv5. Go do it same like me.

Now before we end this part of walkthrough let's do the finishing touch.
For now I want you to look at icons in your right part of screen and click icon with name Gathering Hall.
A countdown timer will start from 20 to 0, when it reaches 0 you will be teleported to Gathering Hall(GH).

Actually the location name is Ehres Harbor, but we calling it GH from now on just like all players in Rohan.

Okay when you arrived you might get a little confused but don't worry I'm here to guide you.

Gathering Hall/ Ehres Harbor

There are many NPC in GH including Sundries, Armor, Weapon, Magic Weapon Shop. It also has Master Armorsmith and Master Weaponsmith for forging weapon and armor, there's also treasury(bank) in the middle of GH, you can store all your stuffs and crones there(of course in your town Morrisen there is also a treasury). Pretty neat huh? Just click that icon GH and you get teleorted to a very handy place. But GH doesn't have Refinement Level and Refinement Status NPC.

Sundries buy Bergendy Brewery Portal Stone

 The Sundries at GH is a special sundries because she sell many kind of different portal stone, let's go and buy some portal stones, mainly Bergendy Brewery Portal. We will make good use of it soon.
Go past the fountain in the middle and you should spot a Sundries NPC at your left. Talk to her and at the Portal Stone tab, by 10 Bergendy Brewey portal stones(bit expensive for 3600 crones), and also you should sell all trash you got from killing those Drexter before.

Now after you get those portal stones, open your map and go to a green circle NPC called Newbie's Helper, inside red square.he's outside GH near a bindstone. Also you should have more than 10000 Crones by now that's one of our objective, don't worry if not though.

Before you talk with him, do this immediately.
open your Inventory and delete your seal growth that boost 20% EXP(Novice Adventure's Talisman). We do this because Newbie's Helper will give us a better seal growth which will boost our EXP by 100% or doubling our EXP gain. We must delete the Novice Adventure's Talisman. Trust me because if you not, when he give you the 100% Growth Seal, that 100% will gone instead. So just drag and drop your Novice Adventure's Talisman into the recycle bin icon in top right section of your inventory.
Now we got rid of that stuff, talk with Newbie's Helper and complete the quest and you got an amazing Growth Seal 100% 7 Day.  Return to Kai'non using Town Portal Stone.

Okay we just finished with the second part of the Real Walkthrough Newbie Lv10- 20.
