Guarder and Opaniel Shield Update

Hope everyone is doing alright :)

So today finally I have a chance to write about this update in rohan. Guarder and Buckler.
So what are those things?

Well I'm not super sure but after I try to study about it(haha study), it's a new equipment.
I mean, well it's a whole new equip that you can wear/use/equip hehe.


So to make this easier here some Q&A for you to read :

• Who can equip it?

Okay first of all this guarder take shield slot to equip it, so if you are a class that use shield and is currently using shield, than you cannot equip guarder. However for all other classes like Dhan, Dekan, Giant, even ranged class like Half Elf, Dark Elf, and Trinity, they can equip Guarder.

NOTE : Human and Elf can equip guarder too, but they can't equip shield then, because guarder use shield slot.

• What's the effect?

The effect is not much at a plain sight, and NO, it's not going to give you Block like shield even though it is taking shield slot when you equip it. 

A plain guarder gives you 400 HP and 400 MP 3% skill defense.
But the main attraction in this item is, it has sockets. So I'm guessing you can put spirit stone there.
And yes the last maintenance has added spirit stone exclusive for guarder and shield. (Maintenance : 9 July 2018)

So we know this guarder is really a nice addition for our gear.

• Where can I get one of those? And it says Chimera Guarder, can I upgrade it into Tali and Opaniel?

So here's the info from the forum.

You can buy this new weapon(they mean guarder) in the NPC "Obel" in the fishing hole. This NPC is only available for Transcended +50 characters.

You need 200 million crones and 10 billion SP(SP is the new Experience system for Transcended Characters, you can get it by killing mobs or consume EXP Pouch after your character got Transcended)

When you get your first Chimera Guarder you must upgrade it to +12 to get the next phase.

To get the tali you must talk to the NPC "Letze" by placing the item in the chimera upgrade box.

To get the opaniel version you must follow the same procedure.

To get the Transcended Opaniel's Guarder you need a Shiny Transcendence Stone.

Note : I don't know yet what item is needed to reinforce this guarder, but I suspect it's ARS or WRS.

However I myself has never tried to upgrade this guarder yet, so I cannot tell you the difference and what stats boost for every phase after Chimera. Try out yourself :)

NOTE : I myself haven't tried any of these at all. I'm sorry but I'm busy atm.

About Opaniel Shield.

According to the maintenance announcement you can get Opaniel's Shield too,

To get it, first you need to get Opaniel Exchange Ticket, then buy an item called Buckler at NPC that sell shields.

Buckler 

Combine both Buckler and Opaniel Exchange Ticket to get an Opaniel's Shield.

You can also Transcend it using Shiny Transcendence Stone, to get Transcended Opaniel's Shield

I think you can use Spirit Stone for Shield on this.

Below is maybe for ISEN ONLY!! I'm not sure about this one :/

They also give info about how to get opaniel weapon for trinity. Below is announcement from the maintenance :

Added the weapons of Rumir and Noir in the NPC Podello (ISEN). (If you combine these items with an Opaniel Exchange Ticket you can get the Opaniel Weapons of Noir/Rumir)
